My passion for nutrition developed my freshman year of college where I started to read nutrition labels. Instead of grabbing a loaded burrito, I made healthier selections and made a conscious effort to workout routinely. After a few months I was surprised at how good I felt! My energy level improved and I never gained that daunting "freshman 15".
By doing this, I found a sense of purpose to help others feel just as good.
